“Mathirai Calculation for Korvai (Jathi)” - This excel spreadsheet allows the user to easily calculate the number of Mathirai in a particular Soll Kattu (Miruthangam syllables) of a Korvai or Theermanam the user wishes to create.

It not only works out the Mathirai calculations it also shows how many Aksharams (Beats) that it fits into and if it fits in to the Thalam the user has selected. This will allows the user to calculate precisely what he/she must do in order to get a perfect Korvai or Theermanam for the required Thalam.

If the Korvai or Theermanam does not fit into the selected Thalam and/or Nadai the spreadsheet produces the names of those Thalam and/or Nadai that the Korvai or Theermanam fits into.

The use of Mathirai notations, i.e. , and ; must also be used to denote Mathirai gaps in the Korvai or Theermanam.

"Thaalam Nomenclature" - This excel spreadsheet allows the user to easily name the Thaalam (From Saptha Thaalam). The user needs to select, from the drop-down menu, three variables (Nadai, Jathi and Thaalam).

The correct name of the Thaalam, its notation, the number of Aksharam and the total number of Mathirai are all calculated for the selected Thaalam.

It also describes the Angams of the selected Thaalam along with the description of how to go about doing the Thaalam.

"Divisions of Thaalam" - This excel spreadsheet details the different aspects of the Thaalam such as the Angams, Jaathi and Gathi.

There are three sheets within the worksheet, one is exclusively for Melakarta Ragam, one is for Janya Raagam search by means of Swaram, and the last is for Janya Raagam search by Raagam.
